Inna Shevchenko (born in 1990 in Kherson, Ukraine)

is an activist, feminist, journalist, author, speaker, and leader of FEMEN. She studied journalism at Kiev University and has been a member of FEMEN since 2009. Inna fled Ukraine in 2012 for security reasons and was granted asylum in France in 2013. She is a member of the G7’s Gender Equality Advisory Council and co-author of the book Anatomie de l’opression.
